Video for everything in business.

Business spotlight videos brought to you by the Parksville Downtown Business Association.

If I had to tell you that video could help you take 5 steps forward whilst everybody else took one, would you believe me?

Let me explain. These days, you just have to look at your own behavior to realize that video is the first thing you go to when figuring anything out. You might start at Google, but you’ll land up at  YouTube.

The point is this. As small business owners, we are always looking to get in front of our potential clients. A way to warm them up so by the time they actually get to meeting us for the first time in real life, they are already coming in primed with half the sale complete and 80% of their questions answered before they even interact with anybody at your business. All you have to do now is John Wick them and finish em off.

On a serious note. If you understand who your customer actually is, you also understand what their top 5 questions or concerns will be in using your business. So, make a video/s answering these pain points and post them on your website & socials. Turn them into ads, post them on groups, send newsletters, and turn them into shorts.

Once you answer customers’ questions and adresss their pain points before they buy from you, they are much more likely to not only buy once but become regular clients. The Golden 🪿 is what video offers you. Especially if you adopt it as a long-term strategy with consistency in play.

More ways video can help you save time & grow your business:

1 – Professional training videos – Create high quality and engaging content for employee training and development.

2 – Product demos & How to guides – Produce polished product or service demonstration features showcasing benefits, key features, and use cases of your offerings.

3 – Live streams and webinars – Host live streaming events or webinars as needed. Invite company experts and industry leaders to speak.

4 – Customer testimonials – Capture compelling compelling customer testimonials or success stories on video. Very powerful.

5 – Interactive video content – Create and implement interactive video content to Guage customer feedback and satisfaction on products and services.

More examples of small business videos.

Websites made with love ad.
Local Pizza.
Animation and voice.
Genie Senior Services used these videos to expand through franchising.

The use cases for video in business are endless. If you have a website and any kind of social media presence, you need video to help keep you relevant.

So, why haven’t you done it yet? Seeing as anybody with a cellphone is capable of doing all of the above better than a professional, apparently. It’s probably for the same reason you don’t service your own car. If you want professional results, you take it to the pros and leave the cellphone clips for the fam and buddies.
