Does my business need video?

It doesn’t matter what industry you are in. Your business can benefit from producing video. Let me explain…

It’s really your elevator pitch. It’s what your business is about and how unique it is. It’s how well priced you are, but also how much you do for the community. It’s your story.

In less than 60 seconds, you should demonstrate what it is that your business does and what it sells. It should include loads of reasons why people should buy from you plus testimonials from those that have.

You may feel that video is an investment that your business is not willing or able to make, but consider this. Anybody looking for anything on planet Earth is going to Google. Once they find you there, they will want to see what it is you do. If you have produced video ready to go and uploaded to the world’s second biggest search engine, Youtube, owned by the world’s biggest, Google, you can share this with clients and potentials everywhere.

You can add the video/s to your website, newsletters, and social media channels, which have the potential to yield results while you are sleeping.

Types of content:

Evergreen content: 🎥

This is the kind of content that will still be relevant a year from now. Content that features information that stays relevant, such as how to videos or training videos and the like. Monthly newsletter content with interviews, value and substance provide credibility.

Genie senior services uses video to promote their brand through franchising.

Shelf life content: 🎥

Shorts, Tik toks, podcast clips, FB REELS and Instagram. Content that is relevant for a short period, like a day or a few days. Maybe a week or two at most. This is the kind of content that gets posted every other day to communicate a certain message or drive a certain promotion.

So, the moral of the story is this. Make a list of the areas in your business you feel could benefit from using video. Once you have that list, pick the top 3 most important things and start producing professional video for your business to drive your agenda.

You won’t be sorry.
